Winter Classes and Summer Track Sessions

Summer Track

Want to get speedy for a fall race?   Summer Track is a great way to boost your running speed.   Join us every Tuesday evening at 6:15 pm at Heritage High School in Leesburg.

Sessions start June 14 and go through August 30.

These sessions are free to Transition Triathlon Tri Club and Loudoun Road Runners members.   Not a member?  Just buy a summer track pass for $35.   Sign up NOW

Winter Indoor Cycling

Keep your fitness over the off-season with our indoor cycle classes.   Buy a season pass punch card or pay by the class.

  • Punch cards are $150 for 12 classes, $120 if you have your own trainer
  • Single class is $15 or $12 if you have your own trainer
  • Just drop in or call ahead to reserve your spot

SpiNFL

Coach: Steve Makranczy

When:  Sunday afternoons at 1pm to about 3pm, depending on length of the first half!  November through Playoffs.

What to Bring:  Your bike and your trainer, nutrition, water bottles and towels.  If you don’t have a trainer, you can use one of ours.

Format: Struggling to fit it all in on a Sunday?  Join Steve for  90-120 minutes of multi-tasking – catch the first half of the 1pm game and get a great workout.  Game action drives the course of the workout.   Its fun and challenging!

Wednesday Night Cycle Fit

Coach: Tiffany O’Reilly

When:  Wednesday evenings 6:15 – 7:30 pm.   November through March.

What to Bring:  Your bike and your trainer, nutrition, water bottles and towels.  If you don’t have a trainer, you can use one of ours.

Format: Work on building or maintaining your strength on the bike, though various structured intensity intervals

Sunday Brick Class

Coach: Tiffany O’Reilly

When:  Sundays 3pm.   January through March.

What to Bring:  Your bike and your trainer, nutrition, water bottles and towels.  If you don’t have a trainer, you can use one of ours. Bring a change of clothes for the run which will be outdoors.

Format:  This class aims to build endurance on the bike and focus on the bike to run transition.  We start with a 75 minute indoor bike followed by a 15 minute outdoor run. Each week both the bike and run segments will increase in length.

 

 

Free Clinics

We offer a variety of free clinics to help you build your skills.

Natural Running Clinics with Newton Running

Coach: Certified Natural Running coach, Juda McGannon of Newton Running.

When:  Scheduled periodically.  Sign up for our email newsletter to be notified.

What to Bring:  Dress for light running and active drills, some indoor, some out.

Format: An active clinic to learn how to optimize your running form to be more efficient and recover more quickly.  Demo Newton Running Shoes!

Intro to Triathlon

Coach:  Steve Makranczy

When:  about monthly during the season, March – October.   Sign up for our email newsletter to be notified.

What to Bring:  Your burning questions about triathlon.

Format: Thinking of trying a traithlon?  If you’re like most, you’ll have a lot of questions.  This session is designed to help you navigate how to get started.  What you need, what you don’t need.  What to wear.  Training resources, etc.

Basic Bike Maintenance

Coach:  Steve Makranczy

When:  about monthly during the season, March – October.   Sign up for our email newsletter to be notified.

What to Bring:  Your bike for hands-on practice.

Format: Learn the basics to keep your bike working smoothly, plus hands-on instruction on common road-side repairs that will save you on race day and in training.
